Rev Jeo Set Ajimvoe
Rev. Joe Set Aji-MvÖ is the board chairperson for World Vision for Education and Development (WVED). He is retired National Secretary for Men’s Work. He is Marry with five children.
Joe Set Aji-MvÖ was ordained in to the Ministry of Word and Sacraments on Sunday July 29 19 73. He attended the West hill College of Education, Birmingham, The University of Birmingham, England; Centre for West African Studies, Birmingham, England; and the Edinburgh, Scotland in the UK.
Joe Set Aji-MvÖ holds a Diploma in theology, Education certificate in community
Education and Social Youth Work; The degree of B.A with combined honours in African Studies and Theology; a post Graduate Diploma in African studies and Political Education; and the Degree of Master of Theology in Theology and Development. He also holds a Certificate in Biblical Traditions and Community Development from the Martin Burber Centre for adult Education of the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, Israel.
He has served the Presbyterian Church in Cameroon in various capacities, Parish Pastor Radio Pastor, College Chaplain and Director of Church Centres concomitantly with his main vocation of National Youth Secretary, Youth Pastor and Officer in charge of Sunday Schools. He has been Chaplain to Emmanuel Sisterhood, Bafut. From 1987 to 1994 he was Secretary to the Protestant Education Examination Board and pioneer Representative of Protestant Education in the Cameroon G.C.E Board Council.
Rev. Aji-MvÖ has travelled on ecumenical programmes in Cameroon, Africa and Europe and the USA. He served as members of the All African Conference of Churches Research and Development consultancy Services and Youth consultant to the Association of Christian lay Centres in Africa.
He is an active member of the Civil Society in the North West Region of Cameroon and is passionate about developmental issues.
Ms. Helvecia Nfombi Takwe (Founder and Coordinator of WVED)
I’m interested in serving communities and bridging gaps there by creating positive changes.
I have expertise in project management (project design/initiation, planning, execution/implementation, monitory and evaluation as well as closure) Locality Development as well as financial management and community mobilization. I got a lot in terms of training and leadership skills.
I hold a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with concentration in Project Management , a Postgraduate Diploma as a Certified Professional Accountant (C.P.A) and a Bachelor’s degree in Education specialized in Curriculum Studies and Teaching (B.ED/C.S.T). I have also attended numerous capacity training courses at home and abroad where I participated as facilitator and key note speaker.
I am committed to working towards impact, innovation and sustainability. My vision is seeing a community with better living standards for everybody with youth and women having a voice in decision making processes and making a difference in transforming lives.
Mrs. Ngwa Angeline Asoh
She is a holder of Bachelor of Arts in Geography minor in Science of Education from University Yaounde . She did an online training course on "HIV/AIDS and Gender: "From basic knowledge to best practice “with InWent GIZ where she holds a certificate of completion. She has 8years of varied work experience in the domain of Development. Presently she is working with Bamenda Mutual Health organization. She worked for four years with Community Initiative for sustainable Development as project Manager "Democracy and Empowerment of Women" DEW funded by Bread for the World Germany. Transforming the lives of the marginalised and under privileged in 26 councils areas of 34 in the North West region of Cameroon. Assisting communities in the elaboration of their council development plans. Carrying out training workshops
aimed at facilitating and encouraging good leadership and respect of human right principle, prevention of HIV/AIDS and acceptance better development. (2007-December 2011) worked with other Nongovernmental organisations from 2006 -1998 as a community development agent. She has attended many capacity building workshops on development issues.
As a human being and Human Right defender, she up holds and respects the following qualities : self respect, integrity, honesty, patience, self discipline and love for humanity. I am open to work with all who are transparent, dynamic and having a vision of encouraging good leadership as a means of transforming our youth for a better future.
Mrs. Concilia Ngwafuh
She is a retire teacher by profession and a founding member. Once a teacher always a teacher. She is interested in serving her community, counseling and psychosocial support to youths, creating learning opportunities for youth in and out of school. She is a founding member of WVED.
Mr. Henry Tanue
He is a financial analyst by profession and He is one of the founding members and internal auditor of WVED. He is passionate about creating positive changes in communities. He works with MTN Cameroon. A holder of Master of Business Administration (MBA) with concentration in accounts. He believes in the economic empowerment of young people.
Mrs. Abong Jeannette
She is s a teacher and works with Premier Class Management Ltd UK, She holds a Master of Education from the University of Hull UK, B.A bilingual series and M.A in Linguistics University of Yaoundé 1, Cameroon, M.A from the University of Hall UK. She is passionate about community development issues and fully supports developmental ideas. She is the publicity Secretary of WVED and one of the founding members.
Mrs. Pascaline Bihnue Ngewah
Member of WVED Cameroon and works with the Presbyterian Health centre Yaounde as the laboratory technician and coordinator of HIV/AIDS program. She is a holder of a bachelor’s degree in microbiology and a founding member. Interested in Health and Well-being of every one in the community.
Mr. Neba Celestine Asombang
Program Officer and secretary WVED Cameroon.
10 Years experience in development work with Community Initiative for Sustainable Development, Bamenda- Cameroon in NGO administration, project design, planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation. I have a passion working for and with grassroots people in participatory processes that explore ways that can improve the quality of life for them.
Good interpersonal, communication, presentation and analytical skills, proactive, open to learning and innovation, able to work within short deadlines and deliver results both in the office and field, and to manage stress.
Miss Yvonne Freenue
A graduate with a Masters of Business Administration with concentration in Managerial Accounts from Cyprus and a founding member. Worked for several years with youth out reach program and Cyprus XP. Presently working with Delloite Canada, she is interested in youths being assertive and involve in decision making processes. “ Nothing for the youths without the youths’ voice” working and volunteering for communities is the most amazing thing in life. Seeing a community with equal opportunities for all people and emerging youths.
Mr. Pascal Nforche
A degree holder of environmental education and nursing. Worked for several years on environmental programs and waste management. Interested in making the environment a better place as we face the challenges of climate change.
He is a strong support force to WVED Cameroon, a founding member and one of the advisers.
Mr. George Nchotu Atanga
One of the major founder of the Cameroon Academic Honor Roll Program (CAHRP). A pillar to ensure prompt action and timely delivery of project/program results.
Mr. Nyanganji Job Ndi
Adviser of WVED Cameroon. Mr. Nyanganji as adviser brings “best practice” due diligence and demonstrate ready intelligence. He contributes in ensuring the feasibility of programs.
